In January 2007, ten media teams took on the Xtra Mile Challenge. None broke the 1400.4km record set by the Zayco Hermanos in 2006, but everyone still went for the XTRA Mile.

In May 2006, six teams of everyday motorists competed in the Xtra Mile Challenge. All six teams broke Ramirez’s record, with team Zayco Hermanos posting 1,400.4-kilometers on one full tank.

In a Petron Xtra Unleaded Power Run conducted last March 30 to April 2, 2005, Pocholo Ramirez and team drove from Pagudpud all the way to Sorsogon on just one full tank.
