Hi there!
I have a question: Don't you guys find it odd and annoying when other
people get shocked and even doubtful about what we all have done for the
Petron Xtra Mile Challenge?? All the kilometer readings, 1 full tank and
reaching all those destinations give them a question mark on their faces?
Well, we (Randy and I) have experienced that just last Sunday. And I'm
sure most of you were bombarded with questions as well.
Just last Sunday (July 2), most of the Magic Six members went to Gee
Dee United's photo shoot for Top Gear magazine. Gee Dee United is a Honda
Jazz and City club.
In line with this, they're going to hold a Honda Jazz car show on
Sunday, July 9, at Honda Kalookan showroom. Randy (of Team R2) was willing
enough to make his car an entry for the "themed booth" category. Our
theme would be a Honda Jazz during the Petron Xtra Mile Challenge.
And we believe that this is a good opportunity to not only relive the
memories but also reach out to more people and share with them the
experiences behind the numeric records on print ads.
I'm sure most of you have received my text advisory on this. So we need
your help on the following items:
-manpower (people who would be willing to lend a helping hand during
ingress on Saturday night and also to man the booth on the event
itself)
-money donation (for production of collaterals - tarpaulins containing
various photos)
-provide long table or any fixture where we can showcase XMC
souvenir/valuable items such as walkie-talkies, nametags, t-shirts, fuel
tank seals, petron GC's, pamaypay/portable fans, the road books, car team
labels and more! anything you all wish to display (should play an
important role during the whole week run)
-high resolution soft copies of various photos (shots that you wish to
include in our collaterals; please send me the ones you like, otherwise,
we will just use what we have in our own cameras) - julienne.cruz@yahoo.com.ph or
CD copies please! DEADLINE is THURSDAY JULY 6
Any other form of help is most welcome. Please do not hestitate to
call/text me, Randy, Mike and Grace Asuncion.
Mansu/Tootsie! Is it possible if you guys visit? Or send us stuff that
you want to display? Please let me know. :-)
Randy is also thinking of t-shirts (?). As of now, I'm helping out on
collaterals and booth layout. The designated area is 5 x 4 meters, fyi. No
walls or dividers. The car show is open to public!
Thanks so much and hope to hear from you soon.
I hope Petron officials can help us as well. Rest assured that we will
not only display photos and memorabilia, but also to further promote your
campaign.
Best Regards,
Julienne
